Julie K. Phillips was a judge for the Kalamazoo County Probate Court in Michigan. She was assigned to the court in place of Tiffany A. Ankley who was elected to the office on November 4, 2014. She took office on January 1, 2015.[1]

Philips previously served as a judge for the 8th District Court.[2] She was elected to the court on November 4, 2008.[3] Phillips was re-elected to the 8th District Court on November 4, 2014, for another six-year term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[4] 

Phillips retired from the court effective September 14, 2021.[5]

Career

Before she became a judge, Phillips was the CEO of her law firm, Julie K. Phillips P.C. She worked as an attorney in private practice for seventeen years, specializing in real estate, estate planning, and corporate law.[7]
