I am a Real Estate Broker and a General Contractor with knowledge of budgets and contracts. I am a native of Tampa and a product of Public Schools. I fight against unfair practices by government against the people. I am locally known for helping consumers out of violations on their homes. I will advocate for more school safety, a transparent budget, and getting our kids back to the grade level on academics. I want to make the budget transparent so taxpayers know where there dollars are going. I want to make sure every child can be proud of the school he/she attends. This involves getting community support, parental support and school administrative support. I also want to explore turning underenrolled schools into vocational centers. I want to make sure the children, from familes where English is not the primary language in home, have an opportunity in early grades to catch up and learn the English language in specialty classes so they can achieve the same benefits of English speaking students.
- I will make the budget transparent and show taxpayers where their money is being spent. I want to eliminate waste in the budget and re-allocate funds to bringing our children and our schools up to standard.
- I want to make school safe. All schools, no matter the demographics or neighborhoods should be safe environments for our children. They spend the better part of their young lives in school and parents need to feel secure about their kids being in school. This isnt that hard. We need more security presence, possibly canine presence. We need to arm qualified, vetted teachers and administration.
- We need to start purchasing programs that actually help our kids learn academics and not social and emotional programs. So much money is wasted on nonsense programs and then on companies to analyze the nonsense programs. Almost 50% of our kids are not reading or doing math on grade level. We can change this.
Transparency and fairness in all government affairs. No special interest spending. No appropriations or pay to play. Term limits need to be instilled.
I look up to my lord and savior and I ask for his guidance daily.
The constitution basically. Also the movie "Mr Clark" about the teacher who went to Harlem.
Honesty and transparency. Not being afraid to be wrong and admit it. No establishment or career politicians. We need good, passionate people to fix what is broken for the good of the people, not for the good of the government.
I am a very personable person. I love conversation. I love debate.
A willingness to listen, to do the research, to present a plan and make change happen. To be able to stand up to criticism and stay strong in values.
I hope to change things for the good of the population. I hope to help as many people as I can.
Watergate is the first I remember. I was 9 years old.
I worked in a veterinary clinic for 6 months.
IT, by Stephen King. It was the longest book and it was terrifying and I read it from cover to cover.
Are you Ready by Disturbed
I want to do too much. I was born this way and I struggle to corral all my ambitions.
To oversee the school system and make sure it is running smoothly and efficiently for the teachers and the students.
All the parents in the county and their children.
Make sure we are handling the needs of our non-english familes by offering not only the students but also the parents an opportunity to learn English.
I will target community leaders around different schools. I will also ask for faith based institutions to help.
Good teaching is defined to me as a teacher who makes the environment of her classroom into a place kids want to be. Challenge the kids. I would measure this as the kids excell in their academics.
I would like to see more electives for our kids to explore. I would also like to see more vocational schools. Not all children are college bound. I would advance the trades education. Auto mechanics, welding, wood working, construction, etc.
The budget audit will show the amount of money we can allocate. We have to audit the budget and get rid of waste.
That a child cannot learn in an unsafe environment. That parents are not likely to stick to a rigid schedule if they are not confident in a schools safety.
I want to see a social worker and school psychologist at each school. I want teachers to have training in recognizing possible mental health issues.
Why did Biden cross the road? He doesnt know either.
I would like to set a policy of a once a month accounting of the budget, the costs and the contracts. I would like a position created to save money in all areas.
Constitution Party of the US
An ideal learning environment is to have a teacher who truly wants to teach and who loves kids. Education needs to be fun. I want to see electives brought back.
I feel we didn't need the mask mandate. I do not like and would not insist on government mandates.
I would like to hold meetings at schools for the parents to come and voice opinions and suggestions so we know the demographics we are dealing with at each school.
I want to hire well qualified teachers and offer a much better salary then they are now receiving. I want to make schools safe to teachers remain in them.
I believe, as I have already stated, that transparency is a must in all forms of government. No more behind the scenes special interest, no more wasting tax payer dollars.
