Utah has been my home for most of my adult life. I have lived in Summit or Wasatch counties for the past 28 years, with the past 14 years in Wasatch County.

I earned my MBA from the University of Utah and then joined IBM. Most of my 30-year career with IBM was dedicated to consulting with federal, state, and local government clients to advise them on strategies and solutions for data-driven decision-making.

I have experienced the growth and transformation in our district firsthand and the breathtaking natural beauty surrounding us. I am committed to working tirelessly to find innovative solutions that promote responsible growth, support our families and local businesses, and safeguard the natural resources that make Utah so special.
  • If elected, I will prioritize families, local businesses, and equitable opportunities, while recognizing and addressing unique community needs.
  • I will advocate for a government that listens to constituents, values transparency and accountability, and is aligned with community needs and values.
  • I am passionate about balancing progress with preservation through responsible growth, ensuring our community thrives now and in the future.
Utah's legislature is currently controlled by a Republican supermajority, which means one party holds almost all the power over decisions that affect us all. While respecting different views is important, single-party rule can create an echo chamber, where critical issues and diverse perspectives are missed.

A more balanced legislature ensures a wider range of voices are heard, fostering healthy debate and inclusive policies that truly represent all Utahns. Let’s work towards a government that listens to everyone.
Integrity: Elected officials must act with honesty and strong moral principles. Integrity builds trust, and it’s crucial that the people know their representative will always do what’s right, even when it’s difficult.

Accountability: It’s essential to be accountable to the voters. That means taking responsibility for decisions, being transparent about actions, and providing clear communication about how policies impact the community.

Empathy: A good leader must understand and care about the challenges and experiences of the people they represent. Empathy helps bridge divides and ensures that decisions are made with the best interests of everyone in mind, particularly the most vulnerable.
Over my 30-year career with IBM, I dedicated much of my time to consulting with federal, state, and local government clients. I advised them on strategies for data-driven decision-making, which helped me understand how to make informed, effective policies that are grounded in real-world information. This experience gives me a unique perspective on how to solve complex problems with practical solutions.

My work has always required me to be analytical and detail-oriented, which are crucial skills for any elected official. I believe in making decisions based on evidence, data, and the needs of the community, rather than on assumptions or political pressure.
Accountability and Transparency: Elected officials must be open and transparent about their actions and decisions. Constituents deserve to know how and why decisions are being made, and I believe that regular communication and honesty are key to fostering trust between the public and their representatives.

Listening to Constituents: A representative's primary job is to serve the people of their district. That means actively listening to the concerns, ideas, and needs of the community and being responsive to them. I am committed to engaging with residents through town halls, surveys, and open-door policies to ensure their voices are heard.

Working for the Public Good: It’s essential that every decision made by an elected official serves the best interests of the public as a whole. Whether it’s managing growth, preserving the character of our community, or ensuring access to resources like healthcare and education, my focus will always be on policies that improve the quality of life for the people of District 59.
