Julie Moore (Vermont)
Julie Moore is the Vermont Secretary of Natural Resources. Moore assumed office on January 5, 2017. Moore's current term ends on January 14, 2027.
She was appointed to the position in December 2016 by Gov. Phil Scott (R) and took office in January 2017.[1]
Biography
A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and Johns Hopkins University, Moore served at the Vermont Agency for Natural Resources from 2004 to 2011, where she led efforts to clean phosphorus pollution from Lake Champlain. Moore left the Agency to join Stone Environmental, a Vermont-based environmental consulting firm. There, Moore specialized in watershed management and engagement of civic leaders and nonprofits.[1]

Moore was first appointed as Secretary of Natural Resources by Gov. Phillip Scott in December 2016. She took office in January 2017.[2][1]
