Biography
Goodman earned a B.A. from Transylvania University, going on to receive her J.D. from the University of Kentucky. She was admitted to the bar in 1980.[1] Prior to her judicial appointment in 2008, Goodman was an attorney in private practice. From 2004 to 2007, she was an attorney for the U.S. Equestrian Federation, Inc.[2]

Qualifications
To serve on this court, a judge must be:[6]

- a resident of the represented district for at least two years; and
- licensed to practice law for at least two years.
