I am a wife, mother, attorney, member of the Plymouth Charter Commission, and a trained community mediator who will serve our community with leadership first. Seeing political polarization all around us, I believe there is a need for community leaders who will prioritize finding common ground and bringing people together across differences with respect and civility. This is a nonpartisan role and I am committed to making sure that we have thoughtful, fact-based, analytical, and objective decision-making guided by the best interests and voices of the community. I will serve with this as my foundation and always put people first. This is what the residents of Plymouth expect and deserve.

I will keep quality of life at the forefront of my strategic vision for Plymouth. Quality of life is grounded in ensuring sound and well-maintained infrastructure, reliable high value core services, access to affordable housing, excellent parks and recreation, streets and neighborhoods where we can feel safe and secure, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion for ALL of Plymouth’s residents. I will always work to ensure we keep our vision focused on maintaining or improving Plymouth’s quality of life for all.
Protecting our environment will be a priority for me. Plymouth is home to beautiful parks, lakes, wetlands, and ponds supporting a vast ecosystem all around us. Our community leaders must be stewards of this environment to ensure its beauty and health is maintained for generations to come. And, while preserving our environment begins locally, Plymouth can also take steps having an impact beyond our community borders. As your city council representative, I will be a strong voice to ensure Plymouth strives to preserve and protect our environment locally and beyond.
I am personally passionate about objective decision-making, working to build consensus that supports the best interests of our community, and upholding the ideals of our democracy.
I am a member of Braver Angels, an organization focused on combatting political polarization. And, books on my shelf that have inspired my leadership and political philosophy include "Think Again," by Adam Grant," "I Never Thought of it That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times,” by Monica Guzman, and "I think Your Wrong, but I'm Listening," by Sarah Stewart Holland.
Leadership, integrity, compassion, and collaboration, and an open and curious mind.

Our state and federal races often get the bulk of the attention, but it is city government that impacts the streets you drive, the parks you enjoy, and your sense of safety and quality of life. I look forward to serving my community.
I have vivid memories of the Challenger space shuttle explosion as a child. What a terribly sad day for our country, but I remember seeing our country rally around our heroes.
My first job was at the Dairy Queen. I learned the value of hard work, and serving customers with a sense of urgency, friendliness and respect. And, I bet I can still make that signature swirl on top of a cone.
Not necessarily, and in some ways it can be better to come in with a fresh perspective. I can think of several neighbors in my community who would do a great job in this role, but they don't view themselves as a "politician." I think so long as you are open-minded, and approach issues with a curious mind and willingness to be challenged and learn, most anyone could be great for this type of role.
My legal background will surely help me in this role. I tend to be analytical and deliberative, which will be a strength as a community decision-maker.
