Now that the Supreme Court continues to shift control to the states, we can no longer take what happens in New York for granted.

I'm a working mom with extensive experience in newspaper and book publishing. In 2017, I became involved in local politics. As the child of an immigrant and a Japanese American who was interned by the federal government during WWII, I understand that we must continually work to preserve our rights and freedoms as Americans.

Volunteering soon led to an offer to serve as Chief of Staff to my local Assemblymember. In addition to learning how state government works, working on legislation, and facilitating funding, I have been privileged to assist constituents with problems they may have with state agencies and other organizations. I am a solutions-oriented person who's ready to serve the residents of this region and this state.
  • Politics as usual isn't working and we need to expand representation beyond the old boys' network
  • We need more women at the table when decisions regarding our bodies and lives are being made
  • By creating better pathways to success for our young people--whether or not they go to college--we can revitalize our economy
