Biography
Smith earned her bachelor's degree from Drake University and her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law. She previously served as the county attorney for Johnson County. Smith was a legal consultant for the Nebraska Department of Corrections and an attorney in private practice at the time of her judicial appointment.[1]
