An effort to recall Councilman Julio Rodriguez in Perris, California from his position was launched in November 2014.[1] The recall effort did not go to a vote because petitioners did not turn in enough signatures.

Supporting arguments

Rodriguez is targeted for recall over felony drug charges and allegedly abusing his city travel allowance.[1]

Petitioners needed to collect 4,661 signatures by February 25, 2015, to get the recall on the general election ballot. The petition was initially approved on November 18, 2014.[1] Insufficient signatures were turned in to move the recall forward.
