Junction City Fire District Levy Implementation (May 2012)
A Junction City Fire District Levy Implementation measure was on the May 15, 2012 ballot in the Junction city fire district area which is in Lane County.

This measure sought to implement a levy at a rate of $.60 per $1,000 of assessed value for a period of five years in order to help pay for operational costs in the fire district.[2] The fire chief noted that this levy was just to help with current district costs and that he hoped that the residents would support the district needs.[3]

The question on the ballot:
Shall the district impose $.60 per $1,000 of assessed value each year for five years beginning 2012-2013 for operations? This measure may cause property taxes to increase more tan three percent.[4] |
