June 6, 2017 ballot measures in California
There were 15 local ballot measure on ballots in nine of California's 58 counties on June 6, 2017. Ten of the measures were approved and five were defeated.
Of the 15 measures on the ballot, 11 were related to taxes. Five of the measures were parcel tax measures, three were marijuana business tax measures, and three were sales tax measures. The remaining four measures included a measure to acquire a town water system, an advisory question regarding funding for a new town center, and two veto referendums; one relating to a ban on marijuana activities in the city of Upland, and one relating to rent control and just cause eviction regulations in the city of Santa Rosa.
