June Berry Darensburg

June Berry Darensburg is the Division C judge of the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana. She was elected to this position on April 1, 2006, and was re-elected without opposition in 2008.[1][2][3] She was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[4][5]

Education
Darensburg earned a B.S. in pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana in 1985. While working as a pharmacist, she developed an interest in law which led her to attend Loyola University School of Law full time. She graduated with her J.D. from Loyola in 1994.[6]
Career
After graduating from law school, Darensburg worked in private practice while serving the Jefferson Parish Indigent Defender Board. She was also an associate at the LeBlanc Butler Law Firm where she specialized in product liability and insurance defense.[6]
