- I am running for state representative because we desperately need change in Texas. Working families are
struggling to make ends meet and folks are losing faith in our party to provide solutions and change. I am
running to be the change that we want to see and make the dreams of our future a reality today. - I have lived 24 years of my 26 years of life in Texas House District 101. I attended Bryant Elementary School, Barnett Junior High School, Bowie High School and the University of Texas at Arlington. All of these schools are located within the district. My very first job was as a courtesy clerk at the Kroger grocery store on Southeast Green Oaks and Highway 360 in Arlington, TX. I was making $7.55/hr while bagging groceries and pushing carts in the hot Texas heat in the summer. I became the man that I am today because of our district and all of the great educators, mentors and people who believed in me. I now want to represent the community that made me the man I am in our state's capital.
- I am qualified for this position because of my educational background and public service record. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 2021. I was then elected to the Grand Prairie City Council in June 2021 and have served as the Mayor Pro Tem for the city of Grand Prairie since June 2025. I also serve as the Chairman of the Finance and Government committee for the city. I believe that my experience has prepared me for this office and I would be honored to serve my community in this role.
