Justice Roggensack recuses herself from Prosser ethics case

Wisconsin: As a material witness to the case Justice Patience Roggensack has disqualified herself from acting in the trial. The case involves Justice David Prosser and Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, two of Roggensack’s fellow Justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Justice Prosser is accused of putting his hands around the neck of Justice Bradley and faces a formal ethics complaint.[1]
Before Roffensack's recusal Prosser had already asked that Justices Bradley and Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson not sit on the case.[2] Only three more justices need to leave the case for it to be discontinued. Most of the Supreme Court justices were witnesses or participants in the incident, leaving little hope for the case’s continuation.
