A US Air Force Veteran, Husband of 12 years, Father of 4, and a Business Executive. Justice has almost 2 decades of experience in the financial services industry where he has led large teams and managed over 3 billion in total assets. He brings real world experience of balancing budgets, creating efficiency, and leadership of accountability. Justice has spent countless hours volunteering in the community from youth sports coach, Habitat for humanity, being on the board of the Atlanta fire rescue foundation, and the list goes on. He is more than qualified to bring real positive change for the people.
  • I will use my expertise to cut wasteful spending, prioritize funding on programs that benefit our citizens, balance the budget, and lower the property tax burden for our citizens.
  • I will actively involve constituents and promote an informed decision-making process for a transparent, accountable, and responsive government.
  • Ensuring public safety is paramount. Gwinnett must combat violent crimes, gangs, and lawlessness, prioritizing investments for public safety. I'm committed to upholding law and order.
I want to protect the current residents who have built their lives, invested in our community, and are raising their families in Gwinnett. Government is supposed to listen to the people and respond to their needs. Currently we have a government that does not appear to listen and has their own agenda of subsidized housing funded by tax payers, prioritizing apartments, and with no desire to get the police/sheriff's departments to full capacity. I'm here to stop this and reinstall a small local government that's actually for the people.
This Chair position approves the budget for the entire county, which impacts all of the one million plus residents. The Chair also holds the capacity to meet with other important bodies (school boards, Sheriff, tax assessor, etc) that has meaningful impact on the lives of all citizens of the county.
My Father and David Goggins. They both have a story of coming from nothing, having high odds against them, tenacity, achieving the American dream through hard work and sacrifice.
Integrity, honor, genuine care for people. Being fair, consistent, and using common sense to not overcomplicate simple things. Always keep the people first.
Mild temperament, common sense problem solving, and building high performing teams.
Keep the government out of the people's way and minimize how much tax dollars are taken in. The local government should make things easy for business owners and citizens of the county to get things done.
The Legacy of the county coming together unifed focused on long-term sustainability.
First major historical event I remember that really stands out was Bill Clinton's impeachment.
I started door to door sales when I was 11 years old. My family was dirt poor and I had this job for almost a year to supplement family income.
Cant Hurt Me. It's about resilience, sacrifice, hard work, and commitment all to become the best you.
Homelessness and poverty when I was a child.
No. Quite the opposite actually. The person who takes this seat should have fresh perspective from outside of politics.
Gwinnett Forum, David Clark, Clint Dixon, Timothy Barr, Matthew Holtkamp
Financial transparency and government accountability are two key things I'm passionate about. Government should openly share their finances, and have the people's support in any sort of spending. If and when any agencies or government officials are not handling their responsibility, they must be held accountable by the people and the government.
