Justin Cronin
Justin Cronin was a Republican member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 23 from 2017 to 2019. He resigned on August 28, 2019, saying he needed to take a step back.[1]
Cronin is a former Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 23 from 2009 to 2017. He served as House assistant majority leader in 2014.
Cronin passed away on November 11, 2020.[2]
Biography
Cronin earned his B.A. in business from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 2003. His professional experience includes working as an accountant for Cahill Schaefbauer & Bauer from 2003 to 2006.[3]

2014
Elections for the South Dakota House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 3, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Incumbent Justin Cronin and Michele Harrison defeated Larry Nielson, Dale Hargens and Gene Toennies in the Republican primary. Cronin and Harrison were unopposed in the general election.[8][9][10]
2012
Cronin won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 23. Cronin and fellow incumbent Charles Hoffman ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5. No Democratic candidates filed. Cronin and Hoffman ran unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[11]
2010
Cronin ran for re-election to one of two seats in District 23 of the South Dakota House of Representatives. Cronin and Charles Hoffman (incumbent) ran unopposed in the June 8 Republican primary.[12] Cronin and Hoffman ran unopposed in the general election on November 2, 2010.[13]
