I am a local to Horry County. Growing up in the district that I am pursuing an elected position, is such a blessing. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. I have had the opportunity to work all across this district and have expanded my phone book significantly- prior to running for office. I have a heart to help those in need and have a personal obligation to create a better environment for our children. I am a devout Christian who believes that the restoration of our Government begins at the revival of God in our lives. I vow to end the Good Old Boy system that had repeatedly left out and forgot the blue collar/ working class individuals, which includes myself. I am a father and a husband and have a degree in Business Administration.
  • Your first amendment right is more important than big tech wants you to believe.
  • Your 2A right to bare arms “Shall not be infringed”. Any gun control policies are unconstitutional.
  • America shall be put first in all aspects. We can help others, after we’ve helped our own.
I believe that the government and our tax dollars should not be contributing to the termination of fetuses. I do not believe that the government should be spending more money than what is being brought in. We are at the brink of an economic crash like 2008 and some folks are just now recovering. I don’t believe that the government has the right to legislate the type of fire arm YOU deem necessary to protect your self/ family. I don’t believe that the government has the right to regulate free enterprise.
Ronald Reagan; his speeches are works of art and so inspirational. He was a man with many talents and had excellent conservative political and social views. He feared God and loved his country. He secured and outlined the future of the Republican Party and his ability to grab the attention of his audience and hit key points in his speech were surreal. Though his presidency came and gone years before my time, reading his Inaugural speech and state of the union speeches affirmed my conservative beliefs.
Maintaining their swim lane, listening to the constituents, communicating with the public, being available when necessary. Be honest and truthful. Admit when you’re wrong, be willing to learn from mistakes. Treat your elected officials like they’re your boss.
I have a passion for doing what others want/ need done. I have the ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations. I have always been the one to speak up and out against wrong doing. I aim to protect the little guy (and girl). I believe in preserving the constitutional rights AS WRITTEN.
Routinely meet with the people to discuss upcoming bills/ legislation that is being presented. Maintain a relationship with the people. Defend the Sworn Oath that was issued upon inauguration.
I wasn’t the type that was considered to be “Most likely to succeed” in High School. I was an adventurist that wanted my freedom. It wasn’t until College, after my daughter was born that I realized how important it was to do well in school. I graduated near the top of my class with honors in 2016. I want those that “barely made it” or felt like they would be on a construction site until they died, or got married young and worked until the skin fell off your bones to support your significant other- to know that We can do it too ! This is our country and we deserve to be as free as our founding fathers intended. The working class is My Class.
9-11-2001. I was 9 years old. I was in class at Myrtle Beach Elementary School. My mother picked me and my 3 brothers up from school early that day in fear that something would happen to the schools. I remember getting home and watching the plane crash into the twin towers and dreaming that I would jump into the fight to bring justice for our brothers and sisters in NY. I joined the Military and served in the state guard in pursuit of this same aspiration. We were put on this earth for a reason; my purpose is to serve others.
I washed dishes for Rotellis Pizza and Pasta in Conway, SC. I worked there for about 4 months.
Wild at Heart by John Elderidge. It really gets into depth about why men instinctively try to be so masculine and it concentrates on centering that instinct around being a better, Godlier man.
The Duke- John Wayne. He was my Great Grandfathers idol and I watched all of his movies and “stories” growing up.
Let it Go- Frozen... thanks to my wonderful children
Juggling a family, all my volunteer work, working full time and maintaining a positive relationship with my wife and God. Sometimes I get so worked up in trying to reach my goals, I forget to enjoy the “already accomplished” goals, the stepping stones that will lead me to my long term goals.
The US District Representatives were created and designed to have a direct personal relationship with the constituents. A direct ability to understand individual perspectives.
No; as outlined in the constitution- previous political experience is not required. In my opinion, the longer a representative maintains their position- the further they get from understanding the needs of the constituents that elected them.
Increasing security at our Southern Border; our current administration has allowed free reign at the border and when the end results are evaluated- our current administration will be dead and gone and my generation will be left to clean up their messZ
Ethics committee, rules committee, taxation committee and foreign affairs
Yes, if you are not doing the job that you were elected to do- it gives the voters an opportunity to replace the official with someone better suited.
Ted Cruz- he may not have made some of the best decisions in the past but he fights for freedom, he fights for his district and he fights for our country.
Yes, my brother lost his home twice during Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Matthew to flooding. My brother and I work together. We went to lunch with another individual that we work with whom also lost his home during the tragic flooding. My brother received a check for $300 from FEMA and the other individual received about the same. We are so quick to collect property taxes, but when individuals need the help, the government turns away. When they addressed our incumbent with these issues, he smiled and walked away.
If they originated in the house, they can be amended by the house to remove the increased revenue. As Ronald Reagan said- increased inflation causes increased taxes- increased taxes causes a decrease in the value of the dollar. A balanced budget and tax cuts will benefit everyone, control inflation and control the value of money.
