Dunn was a 2015 Republican candidate for District 2 of the Charlotte City Council in North Carolina. The general election took place on November 3, 2015.
Biography
Dunn is the program director for North Carolina Community College Student Sponsorship, a nonprofit that helps out-of-state students with tuition assistance. He also has service industry experience, having worked for Thai Taste restaurant for over eight years.[1]

The city of Charlotte, North Carolina, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A primary took place on September 15, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 17, 2015.[11] In the District 2 race, incumbent Alvin "Al" Austin defeated Steven Jones in the Democratic primary, while Justin Dunn was unopposed in the Republican primary.
