Justin J. Karubas is an at-large member of the Indian Prairie School District 204 Board of Education in Illinois. He was first elected to the board for a two-year term in an unopposed race on April 9, 2013.[1]

Karubas faced two fellow incumbents and one challenger in his bid for re-election to one of three at-large seats on April 7, 2015.[2] He successfully won another term on the board.[3][4]

Karubas, along with the other candidates who ran in this race, participated in multiple candidate forums in March 2015. They discussed future goals, budget concerns and Common Core.

Karubas attended and graduated from the Indian Prairie School District 204. He has worked as an attorney for the Rolewick & Gutzke law firm since 1998. Karubas also serves as the director of the Indian Prairie Educational Foundation. He has held this role since 2009.[5]

Karubas earned his bachelor's degree in economics and finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his juris doctorate from the Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology.[6] He and his wife have three children.[5]

Karubas and Mark Rising are up for re-election. They faced one challenger, Renata Sliva. All three incumbents successfully won another term on the board.
