What would be your top three priorities, if elected?
Reduce homelessness, reduce property crime, and creating a more clear pathway for high school students to be ready for the skilled workforce right out of high school.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Creating an education environment which helps students find out what career they may want to pursue and helping them grow in that direction. Which in turn will help our local employers have the educated personnel necessary to grow and expand their businesses.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Use what we have more effectively and efficiently, listen more than they speak, honesty, integrity, transparency and action.
What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
I listen more than I speak, I'm driven for results and progress, I'm honest, open, available, resourceful and a team player.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
Be available to constituents, return phone calls and emails, know the people in the district, be involved in local community groups, and cultivate personal relationships between businesses, schools and local neighborhoods.
What legacy would you like to leave?
I would like to leave a legacy of community and involvement from the councilor's office. A legacy where the councilor is the example for the community and available for everyone that lives within the district so everyone feels like they matter.
What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?
September 11th 2001 I was nine years old.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
I was a dishwasher and delivery driver at a local pizzeria I had that job from when I was 16 till I was 20.
What is your favorite book? Why?
Holes because it ties work to long lost treasure.
