The following issues were listed on Ahmed's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Student-First Philosophy: Kaisar believes every student has the right to a quality education. This includes a greater emphasis on early childhood education.
  • Tuition-free college education: Money should not be a barrier to a higher education. Students should not be leaving school in debt.
  • Protect Medicare and Social Security: We should be expanding Social Security and Medicare. The elderly and disabled need to be taken care of.
  • Legislate a Sensible Immigration Policy: here are 11 million undocumented immigrants in this country. Many of those people have families here. They fled their original countries to find a better life. They must be offered a path to citizenship.
  • Overturn the Citizens United court ruling: This ruling has corrupted our democracy by allowing corporations and billionaires to influence our elections more than ever. It must be overturned.[11]
