  • My campaign is called Back to Basics because too many of us have forgotten our AEIOU's - Autonomy, Education, Inclusivity, Opportunities, and Unions.

I believe that everyone has the right to their own body, and everyone else has the right to mind their own business.

I believe our most sacred duty is to provide a good and affordable education to set out children up for success instead of starting them off behind the eight ball.

I believe we are at our best as a people only when we are at our most inclusive.

I believe that everyone, old and young alike, needs opportunities not just to get ahead, but to thrive.

And I believe these things only happen when we have a good strong union behind our back.
  • I am often asked why the economy isn't one of my focal talking points, but the truth is, it absolutely is. Politicians the world over run on the economy, but none of them talk about what actually makes a great economy. A strong economy is nothing more than one in which money is frequently moving around. And people only feel comfortable spending when they feel reasonably assured that their needs are being met. When they feel safe in their own autonomy, when they have good opportunities in front of them, and when they have a powerful union to protect them, only then do we have a good economy. So if you want a good economy, you have to create the conditions in which an economy thrives. That's what I'm running on.
  • I love debate as much as the next person, and there are certain topics that I am happy to debate until the cows come home. You wanna talk foreign policy? Let's chat about it. Taxes? I'm all for it. However, there is no discussion to be had when it comes to people's rights. Our fundamental civil rights are a non-negotiable in my book. I will be a champion for equality, and a bulwark against abuses, whether they be from our own government or beyond. I grew up saying the Pledge of Allegiance every single day in school, and we, as a country, are failing to live up to that pledge. I know in my heart that the two most important words in that pledge are the final two: For All.
As a candidate for State Representative, my first and foremost task is empowering, protecting, and bettering the lives of the people within my district.

I believe strongly that people need access to affordable healthcare, and that here in Michigan, we have a lot of work ahead of us in getting our education system back to where we want it to be.

In addition to Health and Education, I'm passionate about equality, and would like to see equal marriage rights enshrined in our state constitution.

On the economic front, the people of Wayne and Oakland County are being abused by utility companies, and I believe stricter rules are needed for these companies, especially with the incoming wave of AI and Data Centers.
