Kansas Gooden
Kansas Gooden is a judge of the Florida 3rd District Court of Appeal. She assumed office on July 1, 2024. Her current term ends on January 5, 2027.
Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis appointed Gooden as judge to the Florida Third District Court of Appeal on June 28, 2024 to replace Eric Hendon (nonpartisan).[1]
Biography
Gooden is a shareholder and the appellate practice group leader at Boyd & Jenerette, and has worked at the firm since 2009. She earned her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and her juris doctorate from St. Thomas University.[1]
