I am a proven successful business woman, who not only founded long life successful health care entities but surpassed expectataions of success within a medically saturated communtity serving the underserved and unisured of her community. I saw the need for the "working poor" to have access to affordable health care. I found a pathway to bridge the gaps while building capacity and had the courage to build longetivity in the healthcare industry. Istarted Mercy & Truth Medical Missions clinics over 20 years ago, served as the CEO for 17 years making a hughe impact in Johnson Countys need for affordable health care clinics.

My husband is a teacher, his mother was a teacher, I strongly support teachers and the system in which they work. I also believe in transparency in the schools. I have 4 children, and yes I want to know what they are reading or being taught. I choose home schooling and private school options for my children because I wanted my children to be taught biblical truths, I was the right decision for my family. I support families choosing what is right for them.
