Service instead of power.

Generosity instead of greed. Cooperation instead of division and competition. Respect instead of judgment. Problem solving instead of problem ignoring. Compassion instead of indifference. Pride in diversity instead of bigotry.

Protecting our children’s future instead of hiding our heads in the sand.
My first job was bailing hay on a Kansas farm during the summer.
The Ad Astra 2 map was a blatant example of gerrymandering. Splitting up communities of interest for political gain is not where we should be going. I would prefer the recommendation of Gov. Kelly that would convene a nonpartisan voting commission to oversee the redistricting process.
I strongly believe that compromise is necessary for policymaking. In fact, this is the cornerstone of my campaign. My mission is to restore balance to the KS Legislature by reducing polarization, working together to solve problems, through mutual respect and cooperation. I will represent ALL of my constituents, regardless of party. I will show my fellow Representatives respect, compassion, and generosity, and put to work the negotiation and leadership skills that I have learned throughout my career.
