Appointments
2013
Fornstrom was appointed to the Wyoming Public Service Commission by Gov. Matt Mead (R) on February 7, 2013.[3] The state Senate initially rejected the nomination on February 26, 2013, but reconsidered, approving of Fornstrom the next day. Sen. Cale Case (R) had called for the chamber to reject Fornstrom, as well as Bill Russell, on the grounds that they were both attorneys and only attorneys had been named to the commission since 2005.[5]
