Karen Arnold-Burger sworn in as Kansas Appellate Court judge

Kansas: Karen Arnold-Burger was sworn in to office as the newest member of the Kansas Court of Appeals on March 4, 2011. The former Municipal Court judge of Overland Park was appointed to the appellate court by Gov. Parkinson to replace the retired Judge Gary Rulon.
Arnold-Burger has worked as a lawyer in Houston, an assistant city attorney of Overland Park and an assistant U.S. attorney in Kansas City. She became a judge of the Overland Park Municipal Court in 1991 and has served there as a presiding judge since 1996.[1]
