Karen Beyers
Karen Beyers is a judge of the Gwinnett Circuit of Georgia.[1] She was first elected in 2008 and won re-election in 2012 for a term expiring in 2016.[2]
Education
Beyers received her B.S. from Boston University in 1986, her M.A. from Georgia State University in 1990, and her J.D. from the University of Georgia in 1992.[2]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Beyers was a sole practitioner attorney.[2]
2012 election
Beyers ran unopposed for re-election to the Gwinnett Superior Court.[3] She was re-elected after receiving 99.6% of the vote in the July 31 election.[4]
