Karen E. Christenson was a judge for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in Wisconsin.[1] She was first elected to the position in 1998 and was re-elected in 2010. She retired from the court in 2014, and was replaced by Christopher Dee in July of that year.[2][3]

Education

Christenson graduated from Richland Center High School in 1961.[4] She earned her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1965 and her M.A. from the same school in 1969. Christenson earned her J.D. from the Marquette University Law School in 1978.[2]

Career

Prior to her legal career, Christenson worked as a book editor and junior high school English teacher.[2][4][5]

2010 election

Christenson ran unopposed for re-election to the circuit court and won on April 6, 2010.[6]
