Karen D. Egerton is a magistrate judge of the Sixth District of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in 2005 to serve Johnson County.[1]

Biography and Education

Egerton graduated from Coe College in 1992 and then received her law degree from the University of Iowa in 1996. She is now married and has three children.[1]

Career

Egerton began her career in 1996 as an assistant Johnson County attorney. She worked in this capacity until 2001. Since then, she has been a private practice lawyer. She has also worked as a magistrate since 2005.[1]
