Karen Gillmor
Karen Gillmor was a Republican member of the Ohio State Senate from 1992 to 1997. She rejoined the senate in 2009, and served until her resignation in July 2011. Gilmore resigned to accept a reccommendation by Governor John Kasich to the Ohio Industrial Commission as chairwoman.[1]
Biography
Gillmor has worked as a strategic planner. At the time of her tenure in the state Senate, she was a consultant for the United States Department of Labor.
Gillmor earned her B.A. from Michigan State University. She went on to receive her M.A. and Ph.D. from Ohio State University.
