Karen Humphreys
Karen M. Humphreys was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.[1] Humphreys retired from the court on January 31, 2015.[2]
Education
Judge Humphreys was born in 1948 in Ashland, Kansas. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 1970 with a B.A. in history and American studies. She then received her J.D. degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1973.[3]
Career
From 1987 to 1993, she was a judge for the Kansas Eighteenth Judicial District.[3] Humphreys retired from the United States District Court for the District of Kansas on January 31, 2015.[4]
