Karen Kemerait
Karen Kemerait was a member of the North Carolina Utilities Commission. Kemerait assumed office on May 2, 2022. Kemerait left office on February 1, 2026.
Biography
Karen Kemerait was born in Indialantic, Florida, and lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. Kemerait earned a B.A. in English from Davidson College and a J.D. from Wake Forest University. Her career experience as a lawyer and partner with Fox Rothschild LLP. Kemerait served as the chair of the City of Raleigh Board of Adjustment.[1][2]
