Karen Lea Morian was a 2012 Green Party candidate for District 12 of the Florida House of Representatives.
Biography
Karen Lea Morian was born in Tallahassee, Florida, and grew up in New Smyrna Beach. She attended Volusia County public schools. Morian earned a B.A. from Stetson University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Florida State University. Her career experience includes working as a full-time faculty member at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Previously, she was a teaching assistant and adjunct faculty member at Florida State University, Tallahassee Community College, and North Florida Community College.[1]
She has been affiliated with the following committees and organizations:[1]

Morian ran in the 2012 election for Florida House of Representatives District 12. Morian ran as an Green Party candidate and was defeated by incumbent Lake Ray (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
