Biography

Karen Lewis Young was born in New York, New York. Young earned a B.A. in history from Franklin and Marshall College in 1973, an M.A. in American history from Columbia University in 1974, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1977. Her career experience includes working as the director of marketing research of Capital One, the president of Karen Lewis Market Research, and the vice president and senior deposit product manager of Allfirst.[1]

Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Carol L. Krimm and Karen Lewis Young defeated Nicholas Bouquet and Roger Wilson in the Democratic primary, while Paul Smith and Victoria Wilkins were unopposed in the Republican primary. Krimm and Young defeated Smith and Wilkins in the general election for two seats.[2][3][4]
