Karen Lupuloff
Karen Ida Lupuloff is a judge for the Bronx County Family Court in New York. She has served in this position since 2006. She was also appointed to the New York City Criminal Court of Bronx County in December of 2005.[1] In 2015, Lupuloff was reappointed by Mayor Bill de Blasio to a term ending in 2025.[2]
Education
Lupuloff received her B.A. degree from American University in 1982 and her J.D. degree from the Temple University School of Law in 1985.[1]
Career
Lupuloff began her career in 1985 as an assistant New York County district attorney. She then became special counsel to the special commissioner of investigation for the New York City School District in 1994. She was promoted to deputy commissioner in 1996 and served in that position until 1999. She then worked for the New York State Attorney General as an assistant deputy attorney general in the Medicaid Control Unit from 1999 to 2002 and in the Criminal Division from 2002 to 2004. She also worked from 1996 to 1999 as an adjunct professor of Manhattan College and the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
