Biography

Karen Lynn O'Malley received her B.A. degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1985 and her J.D. degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1992.[1]

O'Malley's career experience includes the following:

O'Malley has taught at the DePaul University College of Law, the University of Illinois at Chicago and Northwestern University School of Law.[1]

O'Malley was elected without opposition on Nov. 6, 2012. She ran in the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012 to replace Claudia Conlon. She received 47.71% of the vote in the primary, ousting incumbent Judge Stanley L. Hill.[2][3][4]
