Karen Rene (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Georgia's 13th Congressional District. She lost in the Democratic primary on May 21, 2024.

Rene served on the East Point City Council from 2014 to 2024.[1]

Biography

Rene was born in Selma, Alabama. Her professional experience includes working as an attorney with the Small Business Administration and as a business liaison in the Atlanta Regional Office for the U.S. Department of Labor's Job Corps.[2] She received her bachelor's degree from Alabama State University and her J.D. from Atlanta Law School.[1]
