Karen Stanislaus was a 2014 judicial candidate for the Oneida County Family Court in Oneida County, New York.[1]

Stanislaus ran for election to the Oneida County Family Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the Democratic primary on September 9, 2014, receiving 47.1 percent of the vote. She competed against Dawn C. Lupi. She also cross-filed to run on the Working Families party line, but lost that primary with 37.5% of the vote. Stanislaus is running on the Independence Party line in the general election. 
General: She faced Julia M. Brouillette (Republican) and Dawn C. Lupi (Democratic, Working Families) in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2][3][4]

Education

Stanislaus received her undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College in 1979 and her J.D. degree from the Temple University School of Law in 1982.[5]

Career

Stanislaus is the principal court attorney for Judge James R. Griffith of the Oneida County Family Court. She previously worked as an attorney in private practice.[4]
