Karen Thalacker
Karen Thalacker is a magistrate judge of the Second District of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in August of 2009 and serves Bremer County.[1]
Education
Thalacker received her bachelor's degree from Wartburg College in 1988 and her law degree from Drake University Law School in 1991. [1][2]
Career
Thalacker began her career in 1991 as an assistant Black Hawk County attorney. She then worked as a private practice lawyer from 1994 to 2000. Since 1997, has been a lecturer at Wartburg College, teaching Public Law. She has practiced law with Gallagher, Langlas & Gallagher, P.C. since 2006.[1][2]
