Karen Tighe
Karen Tighe was a judge for the Bay County Probate Court in Bay County, Michigan.[1] She was elected to the court in 1994 and assumed office on January 1, 1995.[2] Tighe has been re-elected to consecutive six-year terms in 2000, 2006, and 2012. Her term was set to expire in 2019, however, on December 9, 2014, Tighe announced that she would retire early from the bench on February 1, 2015.[3]
Education
Tighe received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1972 and her J.D. degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1976.[3][4]

Tighe was re-elected to the Bay County Probate Court after running unopposed in 2012.[5][6]
