Four of seven seats on the Dayton Public Schools school board in Ohio were up for at-large general election on November 7, 2017. One incumbent filed for re-election. Newcomers Mohamed Al‐Hamandi, William Harris Jr, Jocelyn Rhynard, and Karen Wick‐Gagnet defeated incumbent Joe Lacey, former candidate Ann Marie Gallin, and newcomers Paul Bradley and Jo'el Jones.[1][2]

Donna Hill and Claudia Hunter also filed for election, but were disqualified when they were found not to have enough signatures to be certified candidates.[3]
