Kolenich ran as a Libertarian candidate in the 2016 election for West Virginia attorney general.[1] He will compete in November with Doug Reynolds (D) and Patrick Morrisey (R), who won their parties' nominations in the April 26 primary elections, and Mountain Party candidate Michael Sharley.
