The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[1] Ken Strachan was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Karl Oliver defeated Shed Hill Hunger IV and James Matthew Bennett in the Republican primary. Oliver defeated Strachan in the general election.
