Karla F. Hancock
Karla F. Hancock was a Minnesota Tenth Judicial District judge for Sherburne County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position on December 27, 2000 and was elected in 2002 and 2008. Hancock stepped down from the court on January 3, 2012.[1]
Education
Hancock received her B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota in 1970 and her J.D. degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1980.[2]
Career
Judge Hancock began her legal career in 1981 as an associate of the firm Miller and Boeder. In 1984, she became an Assistant St. Paul City Attorney. Prior to her judicial appointment, from 1987 to 2001, she worked as a Senior Assistant Hennepin County Attorney.[2]
