Karla Staheli appointed Juvenile Court Judge

Salt Lake City, Utah: Gov. Herbert has appointed Karla Staheli to be the new Juvenile Court Judge for the Utah Fifth Judicial District. Staheli, a former Guardian ad Litem in the 5th and 6th judicial districts, was chosen from a list of 5 candidates for the vacant position. Her nomination now awaits confirmation by the State Senate. Regarding his choice, Gov. Herbert said, "She is uniquely qualified to sit as a juvenile court judge, and I have great confidence that she will serve with distinction."[1]
