Karle E. Koritz is a judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. He was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court in November 2014, effective December 5, 2014. His term will expire on December 5, 2016.[1]

Education

Koritz received a bachelor's degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1999, a master's degree in education from Milligan Collge in 1999, and a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2005.[1]

Career

Prior to his judicial appointment, Koritz was a state's attorney for DeWitt County, a position he was elected to in 2012. He worked for the McLean County state's attorney's office from 2007 to 2012, and previously worked in private practice. Prior to attending law school, Koritz spent a year as a high school teacher of history and government in Tennessee.[1]
