Today, I serve as a Director of Software Development at Amazon, leading teams in multiple countries that deliver global-scale solutions. But my most important role is right here at home, as a husband, a father, and a neighbor.
My wife and I are proud to raise our family in Sammamish. Our daughters have grown up attending our excellent public schools, and like many of you, we commute to work in Seattle each day. We understand the daily challenges working families face; long commutes, balancing busy lives, and wanting more time to enjoy what matters most.
We chose Sammamish for its natural beauty, safe neighborhoods, and strong sense of community. We’re deeply grateful for the clean air, towering trees, and wildlife that make this city feel like home. And we warmly welcome every new family who chooses to build their future here. Everyone deserves to experience the same sense of belonging and quality of life that our family has cherished.
I’m running for Sammamish City Council because I believe in giving back to the community that has given us so much and because I kn- Smart Financial Decisions – Efficient use of our tax dollars. Sammamish doesn’t need higher taxes; we need smarter spending. Efficient use of tax dollars is not just about numbers, it’s about priorities. I will ensure Sammamish’s budget reflects the values and voices of its residents.
My fiscal priorities: - Eliminate Wasteful Spending. - Lower Costs for Essential Services - Smarter Development Agreements - No New Taxes Without Voter Approval
- Pursue New, Sustainable Revenue Streams - Community Focus – Policies that reflect what residents actually need. Together, we can create a Sammamish that’s connected, inclusive, and ready for the future My key initiatives: - Safety and Security - A Community Center for Teens and Seniors - Sammamish Botanical Garden - Shared Workspaces for Our Home-Based Workforce
- Environmentally conscious, Safer Sammamish Through Preparedness. Extreme weather events like snowstorms and windstorms have left too many Sammamish residents in the dark—literally and figuratively. Power outages, property damage, and delayed response times show us one thing clearly: Sammamish needs a comprehensive and workable emergency plan. My emergency preparedness priorities: - Urban Forest & Vegetation Management - Regional Emergency Collaboration - Utility Partnerships for Resilient Services
