Karyn Brownlee is a commonsense conservative running for State Representative - District 115. She has a Masters' Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University, and currently serves on the Texas Credit Union Commission by appointment of the Governor. Karyn has served as a public school principal, teacher, speaker, writer, consultant, church leader and community volunteer. As a public school educator of 18 years, Karyn worked with people of all ages, races, beliefs and economic levels to find common ground, solve problems and meet needs. As a responsible citizen, she has intentionally worked in various capacities at the local, county and state levels to further American values as defined by the Constitution. As a State Representative, she will continue her life of public service and sound leadership to benefit her community and the state of Texas. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Karyn is a lifelong Texan from generations of Texans. For the last 21 years, she has lived in Coppell with her husband Jeff where they raised a wonderful daughter and gained a welcome son-in-law. Karyn's philosophy of public service is simple: "Love enough to listen. Listen enough to learn. Learn enough to lead."
