Kasina Douglass-Boone
Kasina Douglass-Boone (Democratic Party) was a member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 17. She assumed office on July 7, 2020. She left office on November 4, 2020.
Douglass-Boone ran for election to the Clark County School District Board of Trustees to represent District B in Nevada. She lost in the primary on June 9, 2020.
Boone was appointed to the Nevada State Assembly by the Clark County Commission on July 7, 2020, following the death of Tyrone Thompson (D).[1]
Biography
Boone was born in Las Vegas, Nevada.[2] At the time of her appointment, Douglass-Boone worked as a social worker in the Clark County School District.[1] She earned a bachelor's degree from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa.[2]
